In preparation for the major New York City fundraising events, members of JACK’S PACK visited New York city to finalize arrangements for the May 19 – 21, 2018 events.
On Saturday 19th May 2018, 95 Officers from The Metropolitan Police, Essex Police, British Transport Police, Surrey Police, The Ministry of Defence Police, Cambridgeshire Police, Merseyside Police, and London Fire Brigade and numerous county forces leave for New York where we are joined by members of the New York Police Department (NYPD), New York Fire Department (NYFD), and US military personnel. We will once again take to the Southern Loop of Central Park to complete their annual Jack’s PACK Half Marathon to raise money for J.A.C.K. Joining Against cancer in Kids.
On Monday 21st May 2018, we will pull a jetBlue Airbus plane in a competition at JFK Airport. Again, our location at the Kimberly allows us easy access to Central Park, JFK Airport, and our final fundraising event sponsored by jetBlue at 1 World Trade Center.
JACK’S PACK will be staying at The Kimberly Hotel, located in midtown Manhattan. The Kimberly Hotel are gracious hosts that offer an excellent location, central to the major fundraising activities.
