Jane Connors

Commander Jane Connors joined the Metropolitan Police Service in 1993 and currently leads the MPS at a silver level for Violence.
She started her career in East London working in Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest, before moving to Westminster to run the proactive crime teams.
She has been head of both Taskforce and Public Order Planning commands. She is one of the most experienced Public Order Cadre officers, successfully delivering a significant number of complex and challenging events many on the National and International stage. Jane has also been in charge of the call centres managing the MPS 101 and 999 calls from the public.
In June 2018 she was promoted to Commander and moved to work within Front line policing managing both response and neighbourhood policing across London. She is now the operational lead for violence.
Jane has 26 years service within the MPs and has a wealth of experience in all areas of policing. She is passionate about delivering policing in such an amazing city as London.
