Each and every member of our group has decided they can contribute to this year’s event and raise funds. What do these funds achieve? They fuel hope for children facing a future burdened by Neuroblastoma. This message is an appeal to maximize our fund raising in order to ensure a new response to the disease can be implemented and assessed.
This year J-A-C-K is particularly motived by the exciting prospect of standing alongside side two other charities in order to jointly fund a trial of therapies that will proceed in the UK, USA and Germany at the same time. Solving Kids Cancer, (SKC USA and SKC UK), and J-A-C-K have committed to financing the trial which will commence this year. We need a combined and equally shared $400,000 plus dollars to achieve this immediate goal.
The phase 1 trial will be the first to test the use of 131-1 mIBG, Nivolumab and ch14.18/CHO in children with relapsed and or refractory Neuroblastoma. The structure of this International trial is also a first. It is vital that new approaches to solve the problem Neuroblastoma presents, for some young children, receive our every support.
Your support will ensure there is hope for a brighter future amongst the children and families living with and yet to realise the impact of this pediatric cancer.
For more information on the progress of the trial please read the update section and those of Solving Kids Cancer in both the USA and the UK.
Thank you for caring.
